The 2011-2012 season for the Yakima Youth Symphony Orchestra and Yakima Ensemble for Strings (YES!) has begun! Student musicians are hard at work learning new pieces and preparing to share an exciting year of beautiful music with our community.
Please join us in welcoming our new YYSO Conductor and Music Director, Bruce Walker, who, along with returning YES! Conductor, Christy Baisinger, has prepared a musical repertoire to inspire and delight both the student musician and the audience.
Students, parents, teachers and community members interested in learning more about us are welcome at rehearsals any time.
